Scope
Situated within the field of urban climatology and related disciplines, the conference will offer an opportunity to present findings from past and on-going research projects as well as practical applications in planning and implementation. The conference also aims at providing a platform to network and strengthen the exchange of the Swiss research, service, and implementation community focussing on the multifaceted interactions between cities, climate (change), and human health.
We invite contributions on all aspects related to urban heat, from measurement-based approaches over modelling and simulation studies to research on heat mitigation or impacts on human health. We particularly encourage interdisciplinary submissions and contributions from young researchers. Most contributions will be in poster format and may be presented within three scientific sessions covering: 1) mitigation and impacts, 2) monitoring and measurements, and 3) modelling and simulations.
